- First of all, thanks for your time reading and trying to help. I have a SADES SA-903 headphone, which supports virtual 7.1 audio, and tried to install the drivers for it (so I can configure it to use the 7.1 configuration instead of stereo), but with no success - both downloaded and companion-CD.
- I've recently bought a sades sa-902 from ebay and it only came with mac drivers. I've looked everywhere for something to use.

Hello!
I recently received a Sades SA-903 USB headset and I've been trying to get it to work. When I plug it into my Windows 7 desktop, it connects (headset controls light up, Win7 recognizes a new connection) but it's unrecognized. It came with a driver CD, but when I try it out I get an error message: 'PLEASE CONNECT THE SADES 7.1 SOUND EFFECT GAMING HEADSET' even though it is connected. I've tried reconnecting the headset and selecting 'ok', I've tried rebooting the computer, I've tried going into the Win7 folder of the CD and running setup from there, nothing works.

Next I tried going into the device manager and installing from there. If I go to the Unknown Device listed with the USBs, and try to update the associated driver, I can manually choose the one from the disk. No cigar. If I try selecting the driver under the 'Browse for driver software...' heading, it tells me that the driver for the device is up to date (never mind that no driver was even loaded). If I instead click 'Let me pick from a list...' and try from there, I get the following error:
'The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work Windows for x64-based systems.'

To ensure that the headset works, I've tried it with other devices. It works fine on my laptop (WinXP) and tablet (Surface RT). It pops up as a plug and play audio device, just like it should. Those are both 32 bit, whereas my desktop is 64 bit. I can see people online using the same headset with 64 bit machines, and I see what appear to be drivers but I figure it'd be worth mentioning. I have another headset, audio jack rather than USB, and that works fine.

And now I'm stuck. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much for any help.
